Band of Horses to Play Newport Folk Festival 2014

For many, it’s hard to believe that Band of Horses is making a Newport Folk Festival debut in 2014, but it’s true. On the heels of Acoustic at the Ryman, the band is set to perform at the festival on Friday, July 25—for the first time ever—with its mostly stripped-down set. They’ll be joining previously announced acts like Nickel Creek, Jenny Lewis, Mavis Staples and more.
Tickets are available now, but early bird, two-day and Saturday options are already sold out—so pick up your three-day passes soon. The festival will be held July 25-27 in Newport, R.I.
